What do we record in the Purchases module?

We record any number of product variants from specific suppliers.

Can purchases be made in different currencies?

Yes. Purchases can be made in currencies other than the one registered by default.

How does Aragro determine a currency exchange rate?

The exchange rate is fully editable. However, Aragro determines it based on the official exchange rate for the month in which the purchase is made.

How can I correct a purchase that was entered incorrectly?

Aragro is a transactional system, which means actions are recorded. There are two ways to correct an error:

  1. If the purchase is in Draft, you can edit the necessary fields to correct the errors.
  2. If the purchase is Completed, only the order and any documents related to the purchase can be reverted, such as work orders, invoice payments, and so on.

If the product has already been used in work orders, reverting a purchase requires your attention because it can affect other transactions.

Some purchases have product-specific taxes, and some suppliers charge taxes on the total purchase. Is there a way to record taxes on a purchase?

Yes. You can record taxes in Aragro. Taxes can be applied to suppliers, products, and customers. To do this, create tax components and a tax plan using those components, so taxes are fully customizable.
