What are counterparties?
Counterparties are companies that can be either a supplier or a customer, depending on the financial transaction.
How can I add a new counterparty?
In the Finance module, go to Counterparties and click “Create new.”
What information do I need to register a counterparty?
Fields marked with an asterisk are required to create a counterparty: Name, Legal name, and Country.
Can I edit information for an existing counterparty?
Yes. All of the information is fully editable.
Is it possible to delete a counterparty from the system?
Yes. Select the counterparty you want to delete, click the three dots in the upper-right corner, and choose Delete.
What should I do if I cannot find a counterparty in the system?
Check whether the counterparty has been deactivated. In the Counterparties module, open the filters menu on the right and turn on Show deactivated. The counterparty you are looking for should appear. If it does not, it may have been deleted or there may be a system issue.
Can I import a list of counterparties in bulk?
Yes. You can do this using the template Aragro provides in the importer.
How can I view the transaction history with a counterparty?
At this time, you can view this information through transactions pending collection or payment in the Reports section.
