Aragro 101: How data flows

Profitability reports and accounting records are not magic. They are the result of feeding Aragro’s engine with four essential pieces of data. Without these foundations, there is no information to guide decisions.

The four foundations (the raw materials)

1. The land (Fields): You cannot create a task without a location. The first step is always to define your fields.
2. The people (Employees): Who does the work? Add your staff so you can assign tasks to them.
3. The work (Activities): What are you doing (for example, irrigation or harvesting)? Define activities once so your team can select them from a list.
4. The materials (Inputs): All consumable or produced resources that have a cost and an inventory.

Why are these four foundations the key to your reports?

The end result—profitability and expenses—is always important, but remember that Aragro cannot work without raw materials. Without raw materials, there is no finished product.

Without this, you lose control of labor costs.

Define WHAT.

Without this, your reports will be unreadable.

Define WITH WHAT.

This is where the four foundations come together. When you close a work order, Aragro automatically processes the cost of the land, the people, the product, and the task.

What happens when setup is incomplete
